Hill & Company is one of the leading dealers, repairers and restorers of violins, violas, cellos and bows in Herts. We are the third generation of a family business and have been in our current premises for over 40 years. We have chosen as a specialist shop to only deal in instruments and bows of the violin family.

We have many professional customers of long standing and we aim to offer our expertise in a friendly helpful way giving sound advice whatever the nature of the enquiry.

A WIDE RANGE OF INSTRUMENTS IN STOCK

We have a wide range of violins, violas, cellos and bows in stock, as well as strings, accessories and cases. We cater for beginners and students as well as professional musicians. We also sell instruments made by Elspeth and Christopher Rowe.

Instruments and bows may be tried in our playing room and full approval facilities are available. We ask that before visiting us you ring first to discuss your requirements and make an appointment.

REPAIRS AND RESTORATION

Expert repairs, set-ups and restorations are carried out by skilled luthiers in our workshop. Please call to discuss your requirements.
